Policies & FAQ

Handmade & Unique

All of our pieces are handmade and one-of-a-kind or few-of-a-kind. We're constantly developing new designs, shapes & glazes, so we don't currently have a set inventory. We have seasonal sales of our work on our website -- you can sign up for our mailing list on our contact page for updates.

We are not currently doing wholesale orders or custom orders.

Shipping

All shipping within the U.S. is processed in 3 to 5 days.

International shipping is considered depending on the country. If you are outside of the United States, please contact us for details. Henry Street Studio is not responsible for any international customs fees.

All purchases are considered final sale. That said, we want you to be happy your purchase, so if you feel like it wasn't accurately represented on our website, do let us know and we will do our best to work it out.

In the very highly unlikely event that something breaks during shipping, please send us an email and a picture ASAP & keep the original piece and we can figure it out.

Recommended Care

All of our pieces made with food-safe materials and our own custom-made non-toxic glazes. While they are dishwasher and microwave safe, we do recommend handwashing as the best way to prolong the life of your handmade ceramics. Our pieces will crack if they go in the oven & matte glazes may stain with prolonged contact with turmeric, beets, or other typically stain-y foods. Unglazed surfaces can be cleaned by scrubbing with a baking soda and water paste.

Some of our pieces are for photos & display only. If so, we've included that specification in the description. The glazes on the pieces are non-toxic but have bubbles, and could retain bacteria from food after washing. Please use these only for photo shoots or for displaying dry food items (unpeeled citrus, apples, etc.)

We hope you enjoy our ceramics as much as we enjoy making them.
